Chalice corals are vibrant large polyp stony (LPS) corals known for their encrusting growth patterns and intense coloration. Often sold under trade names such as Hollywood Stunner, Mummy Eye, and other collector morphs, chalice corals are prized for their dramatic contrast and glowing pigmentation under reef lighting.

Most chalice corals belong to the genera Echinophyllia and Mycedium, both of which are well-suited for stable mixed reef aquariums.
